This is a flyer for a live cooking demonstration. I created this flyer using a tutorial from the Adobe Photohsop training series by Brian Wood. The tutorial was used to introduce students to the features available in Photoshop CC. The design was mainly created using the Rectangular Marquee selection tool to add a variety of different elements. Using Layers and the Fill command I was able to compose the dominant design. Because I wanted to make some elements different and experiment with different features in Photoshop, I changed the font and added some texture and some new shapes. When the design was completed, I felt like it looked like a cover for a cookbook or a coffee table book of Japanese foods. I chose to change the red in the letter V because I thought it looked like chopsticks, a tool used to eat both of these delicious foods.
